Annual Weekend for Quaker Peace and Justice Committee Clerks and Members at Pendle Hill
September 7-9, 2007, Pendle Hill offers a weekend workshop, "Faithful, Effective Work for Peace and Justice," which will include presentations by staff from the American Friends Service Committee, Friends Committee on National Legislation, the Quaker Initiative to End Torture, and Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, including Mary Lord, Jim Cason, Scilla Wahrhaftig, Joan Broadfield, Jennifer Bing-Canar, Peter Lems, and Oskar Castro. Those gathered will share ideas, information, and strategies for a year of faithful - and effective - work for peace and justice.
